Description
Satin Audio Hera II
When we introduced the original Hera—named after the Queen of Olympus—it marked a major milestone for Satin Audio, pioneering the use of Palladium plated Silver-Gold conductors. With Hera II, the Queen returns, rebuilt from the ground up with our latest metallurgy and a newly refined internal geometry.
Drawing directly from our flagship Zeus II, Hera II brings the same next-generation five-metal hybrid platform into a versatile 26AWG build, while debuting our new Satin Audio Special Structure III. It stays true to the spirit and ergonomics that made the original Hera an icon, while bringing its sonic performance closer than ever to our reference-level engineering.
Flagship Hybrid Metallurgy – Five Precious-Metal Formulas
The most significant leap forward in Hera II lies in its conductor composition.
Where the original Hera introduced Palladium-plated conductors, Hera II adopts the full five-material SP-OCC (Superior Pure OCC) hybrid platform developed for Zeus II:
- Superior Pure Silver OCC
- Gold-Plated Silver OCC
- Silver-Gold Alloy OCC
- Silver-Gold-Palladium Alloy OCC
- Silver-Palladium Alloy OCC
Transitioning from Palladium plating to true Silver-Gold-Palladium and Silver-Palladium OCC alloys marks a new chapter for the Hera line. Each of the five metals is chosen for its specific electrical and acoustic traits—blending the rich, natural musicality of our Silver and Gold bases with the resolution, depth, and spatial precision of Palladium. Working together within the same architecture, they deliver a cohesive, holographic sound signature crafted for modern flagship IEMs.
26AWG Geometry – Built for the Real World
While Zeus II pushes physical limits with a massive 22AWG SplitCore design, Hera II stays loyal to the 26AWG footprint that defined its predecessor.
In daily listening, ergonomics matter just as much as conductivity. A 26AWG gauge hits the sweet spot: it carries enough conductor mass to deliver effortless dynamics and signal flow, yet remains light, supple, and comfortable enough for hours of portable use.
Satin Audio Special Structure III
Hera II debuts Satin Audio Special Structure III—the third generation of our proprietary Litz geometry, engineered to bring out the best in the new Zeus II metal alloys.
Built on our Multi-Sized Stranded Type 4 Litz architecture, this new structure introduces two major mechanical upgrades over the previous two generations: a larger central Kevlar core and a recalibrated dual-size strand ratio.
Increasing the diameter of the Kevlar backbone absorbs micro-vibrations and mechanical stress more effectively, keeping microphonics to a minimum without sacrificing flexibility. Around this thicker core, we fine-tuned the exact diameters of the two distinct conductor strand types so they work in better harmony—packing more tightly, maintaining uniform geometry from plug to pin, and delivering cleaner signal transmission.
Zeus II Metallurgy Meets Hera Architecture
When we started working on Hera II, the goal was never to just make a “mini Zeus II.”
Zeus II was designed as an uncompromising 22AWG SplitCore statement piece. Hera II has a different mission. By pairing Zeus II’s five-metal platform with Hera’s 26AWG footprint and Satin Audio Special Structure III, it offers flagship-grade material science in a form factor built for everyday practicality.

Bespoke Black & Gold Hardware – The Mark of Juno
At the heart of Hera II’s visual identity is a newly redesigned Y-splitter that blends architectural geometry with classical mythology.
Crafted in a striking two-tone black and champagne-gold finish, the splitter pairs afaceted, gold core and matching chin slider with a matte-black textured outer sleeve. One side reveals an exposed gold channel engraved with the Satin Audio crest, while the reverse side proudly bears the metallic astronomical symbol of Juno (⚵)—Hera’s Roman counterpart. Depicting a royal scepter topped with a radiant star, the Juno emblem serves as a subtle yet commanding tribute to the Queen of the Gods.
Ultra-Conductive Terminations – TeCu Connectors & Pentaconn OFC Plug
Even the purest conductors can be bottlenecked by standard brass hardware. To ensure an uncompromised signal path from source to IEM, Hera II is outfitted with ultra-high-conductivity terminations at both ends.
Satin Custom TeCu 2-Pin & MMCX Connectors: At the IEM end, we use our proprietary 2-Pin (TeCu/PEEK) and MMCX (TeCu/Teflon) connectors featuring contact pins machined from Tellurium Copper (TeCu). Achieving a conductivity rating of up to 93% IACS—a massive leap over the ~27% IACS of conventional brass connectors—TeCu preserves micro-details and signal integrity while maintaining excellent mechanical durability.
Genuine Japanese Pentaconn 4.4mm OFC Plug: At the source end, Hera II is terminated with an authentic, Pentaconn 4.4mm balanced plug crafted from OFC (Oxygen-Free Copper). With an exceptional conductivity index reaching 100%–101% IACS, the Pentaconn OFC plug ensures ultra-low contact resistance, effortless current delivery, and a rock-solid connection with flagship DAPs and amplifiers.
Handcrafted Precision
Like every high-end cable that leaves the Satin Audio workshop, Hera II is built entirely by hand.
From prepping and braiding the raw conductors to fitting the custom hardware and hand-soldering every junction with audiophile-grade Mundorf MSolder SUPREME SilverGold, every step is handled with strict tolerances. We pay just as much attention to the mechanical stress points and exterior finish as we do to the wire inside, ensuring the cable looks and feels as refined as it sounds.
Bespoke Wooden Box & Leather Case
A flagship cable deserves a proper unboxing experience.
Keeping with the tradition of the Hera line, Hera II comes housed in a handcrafted natural wood box. Because we use real timber, the grain pattern, texture, and warm tones vary from piece to piece—meaning no two boxes are ever quite the same.
Inside, you’ll also find a large premium leather carrying case. Finished with a subtle, debossed Satin Audio monogram, it offers plenty of room to store and protect both your cable and IEMs when you’re on the move.
Hera II – The Queen, Reimagined
Hera II bridges two eras of Satin Audio craftsmanship: the beloved ergonomics of the original Hera, and the flagship material science of Zeus II.
With five precious-metal formulas, a responsive 26AWG build featuring Satin Audio Special Structure III, custom Juno-inspired black-and-gold hardware, and bespoke wood-and-leather packaging, it is a true generational leap for one of our most iconic cables.
